 There is a tremendous demand for properly trained and qualified hair extensionists. Currently, in many regions, hair extensions are an unregulated field and as a result there are a bevy of untrained extensionists offering services to the public. Being in the industry for over 10 years, we observed widespread cases of damage caused by lack of education or proper training. 

We knew there had to be a change and we are that voice of reason.

 

This is why we developed the Minxtensions Training Program  – A curriculum designed and taught in conjunction with Industry Leading Extensionists, offering 3 Specialized Programs in Hair Extension and Hair Loss Techniques to educate our students with the proper skill sets enabling them to master the art of installation.

Do I have to be a hairdresser to attend?

Our course is available to anyone who has a passion for learning about hair extensions. Extensions themselves and are a “temporary addition” which can easily be installed and removed with no permanent change to a client’s hair, and with proper training and practice, they are easy to learn. While we do have many apprentices and licensed stylists attending our courses to expand the services they offer, you do not need to be a hairdresser to attend or do hair extensions. Our doors are open to the public and anyone with an interest in Hair.

After completing your training, you may choose to install extensions as a secondary income or a full time business.

Many of our graduates start off by installing extensions as a secondary income and find it quickly grows into a primary income source. You could operate a mobile business, start a home-based business, or seek employment installing extensions in a salon - There are numerous possiblities and the freedom to do so is readily available when you are your own boss. 

 

Income Potential – Show me the money

It’s no big secret that Hair Extensionists are amongst the highest paid in the Hair Industry. Hair Extensions are intensely lucrative because there is a large void in the market for qualified extensionsists and as a result, clients pay top dollar for hair extensions and installation. In Canada, for example, clients regularly pay upwards of $400-$800 per head of hair extensions and the profit margins are extremely favorable.

 

On average, a Hair Extensionist can earn $300-500 in profit per installation. 

Realistically, if an extensionist does the following, they can earn as an example:

3 sets of extensions in a day: $900-1,500 profit per day

3 sets of extensions in a day, 5 days a week: $4500-$7,500 profit per week

3 sets of extensions in a day, 5 days a week, 4 weeks a month: $18,000-$30,000 profit PER month.
